Matt Payne

Producer of the podcast “F-Stop Collaborate and Listen” and one of the founders of Nature First Photography.

Matt Payne is a mountain climber, adventurer, and landscape photographer specializing in unique and hard-to-reach locations and subjects, including the highest mountains in Colorado. Matt also loves photographing the night sky in natural light using existing the sky that’s actually there. Matt is an aficionado of the craft of landscape photography and has produced a podcast dedicated to that love affair since April, 2017 called “F-Stop Collaborate and Listen.” Matt wanted to create a space to have meaningful conversations with other landscape photographers all over the world. Matt is also one of the founders of the Nature First Photography. Nature First is built on seven core principles that help communicate how each of us can enjoy nature photography responsibly. The Seven Principles of Nature First Photography were developed to help educate and guide both professional and recreational photographers in sustainable, minimal impact practices that will help preserve nature’s beautiful locations. |
