The Creative Flow: A Journey in Landscape Photography Approach

The creative flow of photography has always fascinated me. I first experienced a creative flow moment on a beach during sunrise with my beginner Canon Rebel T2i. The incredible pastel light lingered hours into the morning and everything seemed to slow down. The perfect photographic experience.
After having that almost ethereal experience, I would try and force those moments. When they wouldn’t come, I would be frustrated and even angry at the fact that reality didn’t accompany expectations. This wasn’t healthy for anyone.
So, I went back to the drawing board and developed a theory as to why creative flow happens, how to conjure a creative moment, and even the cyclical flow that I believe all photographers go through.
