During this session, Sarah Marino will share her essential lessons for photographing nature in black and white. Sarah will cover these topics: learning to see opportunities for black and white photography, understanding the role of tones and contrast in black and white photography, learning to use natural light in new ways, and going beyond the limiting conventions of color photography to see nature in new ways. Sarah will also share in-depth case studies, including a discussion about what went into creating each photo (like the technical details), the composition, light, and detailed processing steps to help you see new opportunities in the landscape.
