10 Lessons I've Learned as a Nature Photographer

The craft of photography can be a rewarding and fulfilling journey. From the first moment we pick up our cameras, we open the door to a whole new creative space that connects us to our natural world. However, along this journey, we encounter moments of questions, learning curves, and lessons. We’ve all been there, no matter how far into our photographic journeys we are. Jennifer has been there too, and in this talk, she will share her most important lessons and musings from her adventures in the craft of nature photography. She’ll present her “top ten” lessons and insights from her full-time photography journey over the last five years, including more educational themed lessons about weather, techniques, experimenting, and more inspiring lessons involving creativity, following flashes of perception, and much more. Jennifer will share photos, stories, examples, moments of success and failures, and each insight will have a take-away lesson. These ten insights taught her, inspired, and guided her creative journey to where she is now, and they will inspire and help other photographers, no matter if you’re taking your first steps with your camera or if you’ve been shooting for many years.
