Once in a lifetime, in New York City

 In Conferences

The Out of New York Conference is going to be a once in a lifetime experience. I know this because we are not going to repeat this event in the future. I’ve heard from people that they’re thinking they may come next year, but this is the one and only time we’re headed to New York City. The entire experience is going to be memorable, but we are offering some experiences that you can’t get anywhere else.

We’ve chartered a New York Water Taxi for Thursday’s sunset. Hang out with the Out of Chicago crew, Rick Sammon, Bryan Peterson and many of the instructors. Connect with them before the event in an intimate setting. Photograph the best views of the skyline, bridges, and the Statue of Liberty- all from the water, getting a unique perspective of New York City!

Talk about perspectives? What about getting a view of New York from the top of Rockefeller Center? Join Frederick Van Johnson and RC Concepcion to photograph the best view of Manhattan.

Join Frank Smith on a tour of Grand Central Terminal to photograph areas that are not open to the public. In addition to getting amazing photographs, you will learn a ton about its history.

Speaking of amazing — we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to go shoot at Lindsay Adler’s personal studio after she shows us the gorgeous High Line on the way! She’s a personal favorite of mine, and this will be one of those awesome photographic experiences we won’t forget!

What about learning more about macro photography? We have two of my favorite macro photographers at our event; Mike Moats and Anne Belmont! At this session, you will learn techniques to get better macro images and have hands-on opportunities to photograph flowers and everyday objects.

Finally, Photofocus is joining us on Friday night, and Bryan Esler will be leading a walk throughout the Meatpacking District, West Village, Soho and Little Italy — for free and open to the public.

These are things that are never going to happen again. Once in a lifetime. I hope you can join us next week. Go to outofnewyork.com to register.
