Alan grew up in the world of advertising telling the stories of global clients as a Chief Creative Officer at the world’s largest adverting agency network. It got pretty stressful. A friend gave him a camera and the rest is a nauseatingly happy love affair with photography that has resulted in his shooting for clients including Apple, GM, Cadillac, Scholastic, Lockheed Martin, Food and Wine as well as teaching and exhibiting around the world. His work is in many corporate and private collections. Macro photography is his happy place. Sharing his knowledge and the big glorious mistakes he’s made along the way are two of his great joys.
