Learn to paint with light, with Michael Novo: OOC Podcast Episode 31

 In Conferences, Podcasts

In this week’s podcast, Chris sits down with Michael Novo, to discuss the art of light painting.

Traditionally a wedding and portrait photographer, Michael describes light painting as a series of images using a flash or flashlight, using multiple exposures and merging them together.

Michael strives to do something beyond traditional photography, adapting to each client for each shoot.

He also discusses his path to becoming a professional photographer, health tips and the Portrait Conference print competition.

Michael will teach his light painting techniques at the Out of Chicago Portrait Conference on April 9. See more of Michael’s work at michaelnovophotography.com.
